Gallery Mariska Dirkx presents during the month of September in the cloisters of the Carthusian Monastery, Swalmerstraat 100 in Roermond (behind Charles Chapel and the buildings of the diocese) 25 artists. This year's biennale takes for the ninth time place.
We invite you to the official opening on Saturday, September 1, 2012.
The program on 1 September is as follows:
From 13.30: Reception of the artists and guests. 15.00: Official opening.
                              
The opening speech will be provided this year by Ine van der Aa, then Mariska Dirkx  will present 
the artists to you. Then we raise our glasses to a successful exhibition.

17.00: The artists present their work, are available to answer questions and explain their work.
Besides the work of the professional artists of Gallery  Mariska Dirkx, Coco and Olivier van Wijk present this year in one of the four corridors the work by young artists i.e Gallery Young Culture.

General information:Every Saturday and Sunday in September, the cloisters open from 13 to 17 hours.The entrance fee is 2 euros per person. In the monastery garden you can have a coffee or tea with Limburg pie or enjoy the oasis of calmness in the bustling city of Roermond with a delicious glass of wine.
For groups of minimum 8 persons, we offer the possibility of viewing the exhibition by appointment outside normal opening hours. Visiting the art can optionally be combined with an introduction and consuming a consumption.
