GlassTec 2014: Glass Art

Masterpiece
After seven years of work, together with studio Lobmeyr, Jack Ink finally finished the 4 meter high shell. After showing it in the Volksbank gallery, VIenna next to the Opera it was then moved to where it is hanging in the Lobmeyr showrooms. A 65 page small flyer is available regarding the construction and concept of this masterpiece. Glasstec 2014 in DUsseldorf is the first time it is exhibited outside of Austria.

the last two weekends at Biennale X Roermond

Biennale X, Roermond

Glass art is great for its colorful beauty, reflection and transparency. It's incredible how many different techniques the artist knows how to apply. Glass is forever, colors never perish. We can also discover this in the stained glass windows of Joep Nicolas. The discovery of a glass treasure in Roermond also attracts many visitors to the Swalmerstraat 100. The many volunteers worked in mud and water and saved the most beautiful pieces of oblivion. We know for sure. Roermond is a city of glass and that we must maintain.

We are approaching the two last two weekends of the glass art Biennale by Galerie Mariska Dirkx. More than 2,000 visitors have admired more than 300 works of art. The international supply of glass artists is surprising because of the techniques used and particular art concepts. You can really enjoy and that is very important to Galerie Mariska Dirkx.

Glaskunst is schitterend door de kleurenpracht, de reflectie en transparantie. Het is ongelooflijk hoeveel verschillende technieken de kunstenaar weet toe te passen. Glas is voor eeuwig, haar kleuren vergaan nimmer. Dat kunnen we ook zien in de bijzondere ramen van Joep Nicolas die aangeboden worden. De glasvondst van Roermond trekt ook veel bezoekers naar de Swalmerstraat 100. De vele vrijwilligers hebben in modder en water de mooiste fragmenten gered van vergetelheid. We weten het zeker. Roermond is een glasstad en dat moeten we behouden.

We naderen de twee laatste twee weekenden van de glaskunst Biennale van Galerie Mariska DIrkx. Meer dan 2000 bezoekers hebben met bewondering gekeken naar meer dan 300 kunstwerken. Het internationale aanbod van glaskunstenaars is verassend door de gebruikte technieken en bijzondere concepten. U kunt er echt genieten en dat is voor Galerie Mariska Dirkx heel belangrijk.
